Contact Smart Cards:

Contact IC cards are the most popular card-connection design, and are used for both card sizes and chip types. Contact IC cards must be inserted into an IC card reader. They have a small gold plate about ½” in diameter on the front, instead of the a magnetic strip on the back like a credit card. When the card is inserted into a smart card reader, it makes contact with electrical connectors that transfer data to and from the chip.

Contact IC card is suitable for telecom card,IP card, smart card, integrated circuit card, membership card, electronic ticket, VIP card, medical, insurance, transportation, school and so on.
